Beowulf Looks Amazing

Beowulf is a 2007 fantasy film directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film is an adaptation of the Old English epic poem Beowulf. The film is computer animated and will use motion capture techniques similar to Zemeckis’s The Polar Express. Beowulf will be released on November 16, 2007. Starring the voice talents of Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, Alison Lohman, John Malkovich, Crispin Glover, Brendan Gleeson and Angelina Jolie.
The following, however, must be stated:
It is obvious to me that what Zack Snyder did for the zombie genre…he’s also done for the “historical epic” genre. That trailer HELLA reminds me of 300. This is not really a BAD thing, per se, because 300 was made of throbbing awesome and Robert Zemeckis is neat-o burrito.
Anyway.
SPEAKING of Zack Snyder, I will now jack a post made by my hirsute Canadian Compatriot (and opinionated movie buff) TheWalkingMan and detail the cast of the upcoming Watchmen flick. Which is going to RULE you.
